The objective of this competition is to develop closer ties across the European community of haiku creators (although haiku authors from other parts of the world are welcome to submit entries as well). We are planning 4 separate competitions yearly, one for each season of the year. The competition is led in cooperation with the Publishing House KONTEKST from Poznań.

The tenth edition of EQK is our first small jubilee. We welcomed 183 participants from 38 countries and a large number of good haiku.
